What does this website do?

It shows you, by highlighting in green, the areas of the globe which have great weather at your chosen time of the year.

What does "great weather" mean?

"Great weather" means good weather for a comfortable beach or sight-seeing holiday. We use an algorithm that identifies areas with comfortable temperatures (neither too cold nor too hot), a comfortable level of humidity, low levels of cloud, good sunshine, low rainfall, and comfortable wind speeds.

How do I use the controls?

Use the options at the top to decide your time of year. The bottom right has zoom controls and a location picker which you can use to get further detail on your chosen location.
